HELLLLOOO Everybody...

I know, I know, I've been M.I.A. but i told yall i was doing some 'SPRING CLEANING' , and it took me a little while to get some old things and people out of my life and open up to recieve the new people and new things!!!  Not to add that i have been a little "under the weather" for the last 2 weeks...HATED IT! LOL! Other than that i have been good and VERY at peace.... great feeling!!

My best friend Tina... i mean Dr. Teneshia  (LOL) came home and saved me from my sllloooowly dying "social life" this weekend.. yaaayy! I really enjoyed it and it was MUCH needed! We went for food and drinks at "Chillis'" , then we  stopped downtown on 5th street by the "Sportsmans Bar and Grill" to listen to my good friend Jerry whom was djing that nite. I love jerry like a brother... i ALWAYS enjoy his smooth sound selections. Then we hoped over to Club Mersades to another party... which was nice as well. So if any of you looking for something to do on the weekend stop by and support "The Sportsman" and "Club Mersades"... i know what your thinking , how can i promote other people's spots when i had my own (The Sultri Lounge).. well let me explain something to you... i am NOT a HATER!! I believe in supporting others and i KNOW how hard it is to get the support of other in business ventures. The owners and workers of both spots showed us support when "The Sultri Lounge" was open, therefore i have NO problem being there for them!!!!

Well i have to go... i was looking REAL NAPPY today so my girl Jessica just relaxed my hair and is about to roll it.. SHOUT OUT to Jessica Walker....thanks girl!!

Oh yeah... In MAY "First Fridays Meridian" will be returning!!! For those of you that dont know... let me school you a little... First Friday is a social networking scene that is held in many states, that gives professionals a chance to unwind, mix and mingle with like-minded professionals, all while listening to live music . .. dj or band. I started "First Fridays" in 2009... and it was GREAT!! Every first friday of the month the Jazzy, soulful sounds of a local band "Earkandy" and Ms. Sherita Duff, and various surprise soloist blew us all away!! Shout out to Mrs. Tracy Clayton at the Cinderella Spatique on 5th street for allowing me to host my events there!!!  SO now that you know.... i will be keeping everyone informed on where and when "First Fridays Meridian" will be held!!! GET Excited Meridian Professionals... this is just for you!!!

"Spring Cleaning"

This weekend was a BEAUTIFUL weekend!!    Nothing exciting but i did some "spring cleaning", i started with my place of residence, then my thoughts ( a little me time). Ya know, its good to clear you mind of old thoughts, junky thoughts and come to peace of mind to prepare yourself to recieve new thoughts and visions. NEVER be afraid to LET GO of the old...b/c the NEW is so much more exciting when it comes!

Since this is my first post I will began with my "Shout Outs", which I will probably do often b/c I believe in giving "props" where they are due! I want to shout out  MY HEART... "The Sultri Lounge" ..and Family ( BossMan, Allison, Gee Gee, Jahee, Corey, Jessica, Ant, Tory, Courtney, Wade)... Thanks SO much for hanging in there!! The Sultri Lounge is Closed right now BUT I will keep you posted on the RE-Opening date! Shout outs to ALL the Supporters of  The Sultri Lounge.. without you ESP our "Professional Therapy Thursday" Crew, we would not have made it this far!
